The same was confirmed in Bethesda’s recent comprehensive deep dive into the space-faring RPG during its Starfield Direct presentation, and though details on exactly what features we can expect from its Photo Mode are scant, presumably, they’ll be revealed in the weeks and months leading up to its launch. Most major (and otherwise) games tend to feature a Photo Mode, either at launch or with post-release updates, and Bethesda has confirmed that upon its release later this year, Starfield, too, will have one.

Following Microsoft's acquisition of Bethesda, the publisher stated that new Bethesda titles, including Starfield, will be available on Xbox Game Pass when they are released. We all love a good Photo Mode, and thankfully, developers are more than aware of how much we love it. This may seem self-evident, but it's worth reiterating.

So, while Starfield has many of the same open-world RPG aspects as Bethesda's past games, such as branching tales and huge areas to explore, there's clearly room for it to stand alone. The Elder Scrolls games are high fantasy games with melee weapons, bows, and magic, whereas the Fallout games are all about amazing firearms. Bethesda is known for its sprawling open-world RPGs and Starfield will fall into that category as well.Īll of this makes Starfield sound like Bethesda's usual fare, but if there's one thing we can count on, it'll be the diversity Bethesda is renowned for incorporating into their games to make them stand out from the rest.

While there isn’t much information regarding Starfield yet, a general concept of what it will become has been released. The full-featured Bethesda Game Studios role-playing experience, as seen in titles like The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim and Fallout 4, has been adapted to a brand-new science fiction setting in Starfield.
